It has been remarkably windy here. Not as windy as this:
At least, I don't think it has been...but I bet the owl is wishing it had a good pair of tennis shoes right now, because walking would be preferable to battling the gusts we're having.
Who pissed off the Zephyrs??
Quote of the day...er...week...umm...hey, look, a quote!!
Tibi gratias agimus quod nihil fumas.
It says "...freedom of...", not "...freedom from...".
"It's amazing to me how many people think that voting to have the government give poor people money is compassion. Helping poor and suffering people is compassion. Voting for our government to use guns to give money to help poor and suffering people is immoral self-righteous bullying laziness. People need to be fed, medicated, educated, clothed, and sheltered, and if we're compassionate we'll help them, but you get no moral credit for forcing other people to do what you think is right. There is great joy in helping people, but no joy in doing it at gunpoint." - Penn Jillette

Try the URL and see if that works for ya - the video displays fine on Bob, but I'm not savvy enough to know why there's a difference.
That was a remarkable video. Had to watch it twice.
I keep going back to it - that's some crazy wind! The first time I watched it, I wondered how much power it made before it went down, and if any lights blew because of it. And don't those things have brakes??
