Quote of the day...er...week...umm...hey, look, a quote!!

Tibi gratias agimus quod nihil fumas.

It says "...freedom of...", not "...freedom from...".

"It's amazing to me how many people think that voting to have the government give poor people money is compassion. Helping poor and suffering people is compassion. Voting for our government to use guns to give money to help poor and suffering people is immoral self-righteous bullying laziness. People need to be fed, medicated, educated, clothed, and sheltered, and if we're compassionate we'll help them, but you get no moral credit for forcing other people to do what you think is right. There is great joy in helping people, but no joy in doing it at gunpoint." - Penn Jillette

Me too, Mizz Meg - I was crushed to learn they'd broken up and I'll never get to see them in concert...

How did I not know that you liked Nickel Creek, too?!? (Mental Note: We need more music at Girls' Night)

Well, Mizz Gypsy, I have no idea how you missed that - I've only blathered on endlessly about how "The Lighthouse' Tale" made me weep the first time I heard it.

It's not like you had any Noodle or Mouse shaped distractions, or anything...

I agree...more music...AFTER we shovel the boys outside to be their raucous selves!

Which reminds me...I have a new song...(tease!!)...not the one I sang last time...la, la, la...

I love Nickel Creek. I've learned to play several of their songs, including this one, and "Out of the Woods."
