Nature does love to be noticed, doesn't she? I saw this plant last July at Green Animals, a topiary garden from Colonial times up in RI. I don't know what it is, but when no one's about I call it "Fuzzy Nuts", for obvious reasons. I have no idea why it delights me so (no, not for sophmoric reasons!), but I smile whenever I look at the photograph.I am in the midst of making oatmeal, and later today I'm going to post the recipe for making bannocks. I know you're on tenterhooks over that!
