Aww, hail!

So a few minute ago, we had a bit of hail. There was another twister somewhere nearby, but it went visiting elsewhere. This time, T and J took the Evil Genius down to the little bathroom, but I had to take pictures. 'Cause, you know...I am just that clever! Here's what we had falling on our house:

Hailstones...on my front porch...make me happyyyy....

Hailstones...on my big fat hand...make me smiiiile...

Oh, hailstones...on my front porch....make me happyyyy....

Hailstones...on my yard...make me very glad I didn't plant any seedlings yet because they'd be very unhappy with the weather right nooooowwwwww...

So much for the musical interlude. I brought in some hailstones and Bird and I had a snack. Yes, that's how much I respect the weather. Hey, they're calorie free, and cool your drink fast!

The sun's out, now...I may go look for rainbows.

I suppose the quality of your hail is only as good as your air quality. Don't think I'd eat any L.A. hail.

I don't blame you. Come to think of it, I have no idea where this hail originated...could have been Guam, for all I know. Still, it was funny - "I'm eating the storm!!" He asked for another piece, and I obliged. It was a bit like eating packed snow.

At least we didn't have the stuff the size of baseballs!

I know that song!!!! Great pics. What is UP with the weather????? Or is it normal for you at this time of year?
Blueberry and the Bean were making 'snow sundaes' with snow, choc sauce and peanuts the other day. How do you eat your hail??

This was an unusual set of storms, even for us. Five or six small to medium sized storms freight-trained right through a small corridor between two fronts, sometimes joining forces and becoming fiercer.

We take our hail straight up.
