Quote of the day...er...week...umm...hey, look, a quote!!

Tibi gratias agimus quod nihil fumas.

It says "...freedom of...", not "...freedom from...".

Nolite te bastardes carburundorum!

"It's amazing to me how many people think that voting to have the government give poor people money is compassion. Helping poor and suffering people is compassion. Voting for our government to use guns to give money to help poor and suffering people is immoral self-righteous bullying laziness. People need to be fed, medicated, educated, clothed, and sheltered, and if we're compassionate we'll help them, but you get no moral credit for forcing other people to do what you think is right. There is great joy in helping people, but no joy in doing it at gunpoint." - Penn Jillette

Mmm...fresh bread, warm from the oven. Butter. Honey with nutmeg mixed in. A sprinkle of cinnamon. Oh, bliss! Thank you, oh gods of field and grain, for something so trenscendent and beautiful.

Amen, or something.
I may never sleep again - not because my mattress is crapping out (which it is) but because I have a new photo-editing program to play with. So many photos, so many effects, so few hours in the day.

I am excited about going to pick blueberries in the next week or so. How boring am I??
That's all I've got right now. Sad.

I'm excited about blueberries too... and I've already gone to pick them once (but there weren't many ripe onec) so I think that makes me even sadder than you. I'm excited about repicking blueberries. Oh dear... and now I'm bragging about it... can it get any worse?

Heh, Gina, it's OK - I speak typo!

At least we're not alone in our blueberry love, huh?

Oh, and welcome!
