Quote of the day...er...week...umm...hey, look, a quote!!

Tibi gratias agimus quod nihil fumas.

It says "...freedom of...", not "...freedom from...".

"It's amazing to me how many people think that voting to have the government give poor people money is compassion. Helping poor and suffering people is compassion. Voting for our government to use guns to give money to help poor and suffering people is immoral self-righteous bullying laziness. People need to be fed, medicated, educated, clothed, and sheltered, and if we're compassionate we'll help them, but you get no moral credit for forcing other people to do what you think is right. There is great joy in helping people, but no joy in doing it at gunpoint." - Penn Jillette

Warning: This Post Could Cause High Blood Sugar

We're home. The folks at Redneck Central General Horspital and Sock Emporium were wonderful...but then, of course I'd think so, they laughed at all my jokes. Sprout's out and doing fine, and you know I MUST love Someone because I gave him my blogger AND facebook passwords so he could post updates and pics whenever he came home.

They sprung me a day earlier than originally planned, for which I am grateful - it's a nice enough place and the food's just fine...but I missed home and kitties and the Evil Genius somethin' fierce...and my bed's way more comfortable, and no one at Casa de Crazy will wake me up fourteen times a night to find out how I'm doing and then tell me to get some rest.

I'm sleepy, so I'm just tossing you some photos and going to take a nap. Is it me, or does Mum look like Sprout just farted on her??

"Rock on, Little Big Brother!!"

Besotted.

"I love my Papa Thiiiiiis much..."

Oh...sweetness...

Funny, I know just how she feels - that Someone is a comforting, comfortable place to rest a weary head...

Three generations of hands...Mum's, Sprout's, and mine...nice...

Home...

Kyddryn, ya done GOOD. She is lovely, and your photos are wonderful. I knew you were close but I'd lost track of HOW close. So happy for you. Warm hugs to the new big brother. Tell him hello from your friend Foolery, who is twice a big sister and knows what an important and wonderful job it is.
