Quote of the day...er...week...umm...hey, look, a quote!!

Tibi gratias agimus quod nihil fumas.

It says "...freedom of...", not "...freedom from...".

"It's amazing to me how many people think that voting to have the government give poor people money is compassion. Helping poor and suffering people is compassion. Voting for our government to use guns to give money to help poor and suffering people is immoral self-righteous bullying laziness. People need to be fed, medicated, educated, clothed, and sheltered, and if we're compassionate we'll help them, but you get no moral credit for forcing other people to do what you think is right. There is great joy in helping people, but no joy in doing it at gunpoint." - Penn Jillette

A Day

You ever have one of those days when, if you didn't have kids, pets, a job (not that I have one - shoot, the only skills I could get paid for these days are generally plied on a street corner and are frowned upon by society and the law), bills to pay, and a host of other obligations yammering inside your noggin, you wouldn't bother getting out of bed?

The kind of day when you can't do anything right, shit breaks down that you can't fix or afford to replace, and it seems like the whole damned world is pissed off at you?

The kind of day where you want to apologize for taking up precious oxygen?

Yeah, this could very well be one of those kinds of day. Hoofuckinray.

Those kind of days do come around, don't they?

Hope it doesn't last too long!
