Bon Apetit

What follows is graphic in nature. The scene reminded me of that scene in Jurassic Park when they left that goat out for the T-Rex and all that was left was a dangling chain. Really...it was...it was...(shiver)...I may never recover...

Poor little dog, never stood a chance.

It is this kind of glamour I love. The refinement of the dining hour.

And the fact that you photographed the whole thing.

Awesome!

Marcie, isn't it grand? I missed the first two bites because I was too busy giggling with a friend as we watched the carnage, but I managed to get the camera out and shooting for the rest.

Bless the enthusiasm of a hungry child...it's just so deeply honest and visceral...

Susie, we try. Hah!

I have a limited attention span. Did I miss something? Is he gonna eat a goat or a T-rex next?

: )

You know there is a Mustard Rule - if there is mustard on whatever you're eating, guaranteed some of it will end up on YOU. Your face, your fingers, your shirt, your lap - you get the idea. My kids try to defy Mom's Mustard rule but it is just one of those universal truths and they cannot.

Hey! That's how I eat mine! You mean I have been glamorous all of this time and didn't know it?

Foolery, did you say something? My mind wandered...

Soup - it's a condiment rule around here; any condiment, it'll get on the clothing that is opposite in color and most likely to stain.

Jennifer, you're a trend setter!!

I wanted to look away, really I did. But, just like a train wreck - you have to keep watching.

Suz, I recommend Maverick Ranch all beef or bison - they're a most satisfactory dog with none of the horror or mystery contained in others of the genre.

Debbie, I feel your pain - I often use the same analogy. That's why I took pictures!
