Whew - how'd a week go by? I'm still trying to get everything packed for our trip. We leave in eight hours for Ohio, ten days camping, singing, and generally being pagan in a reclaimed strip-mine. I'll have Bob with me and hope to post now and then. I have, for once, NOT pre-written any posts. Whoah. Life's hectic just now and I didn't have the time.
I HAVE arranged for a friend to water the garden and houseplants, and to play with all the cats and tell them how marvelous they are so they won't feel completely abandoned. I'm blessed with some amazing friends, I must say.
OK, enough foolin' around...I am almost done loading the trailer and van, just a few last-minute odds and ends, and then a few dishes to do, and then a shower and bed.
Did I say whew? Yeah...
Have a great time! I'm so jealous :) I applied for a job in Ohio that would've been close to that area. Please give us a full report when you return. Safe journeys.
ReplyDeleteYou be careful out there! It's a scary world sometimes!
ReplyDeleteBe safe! Have fun...!
Have a wonderful time...wish I was going :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday. take care.
ReplyDeleteDid you leave a script for your friend to use with the houseplants? I mean, if your houseplants have been spoiled by you and are really sensitive and you let your friends just "wing it", they could totally say one wrong thing and WHAM - instant wilt.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a fabulous time wilting and when you come back you can see your goat pics up at NGIP for the latest Goat Thing of the Day.
What??? I said "wilting" in the 2nd paragraph? GAHH! I meant to say I hope you have a fabulous time camping. CAMPING!
ReplyDeleteHow embarrassing.
