Music That Speaks

I know you know a song or three that speaks, either to or for you.

Yeah, me too.

I first heard this song on the Batman Forever sound track (by Eddi Reader), and found it lovely and poignant.

    I canna help but hear the line, over and over--
    "Love will come back for you.. someday.."
    And then, break down in tears, for crying to the Heavens the soul's true lament: "No it WON'T!!!"
    "?WHY, then, has it NOT?!?"
