If only we could blog with scratch 'n' sniff

Oh, if only. I am making a crock-pot roast for tonight's dinner. I started it first thing this morning. Now my hands smell of onions, garlic, and thyme. Holy crap, that's potent stuff!

It's been going for a couple of hours, now, and is beginning to perfume the house. Oh, my.

Dare I make chocolate chip cookies later, or would that just be too over the top?

You know, it's no wonder I have a fifty-acre ass.

  1. Thanks - it did make the house smell wonderful, and I have been nibbling the leftovers for the last few days. Mmm...I have much love for the crock pot.

  2. Me, too. My husband does a crock pot roast about once a week, and I can smell it outside the house before I even get in the door. The outside cats can, too.
