Yes, there are rules and laws and social mores and sticky things like morals, but to expect a manufactured version of "perfect" is missing altogether what perfect CAN be... A messy house with happy kids. A pile of crocheted UFOs that occasionally yields a mostly finished project that I can tidy up and sell for real cash money. A list of "would like to dos" that I occasionally get to cross an item off of.
